CodeRally 6.0
Following the Training Weeks, the Selection Weeks mark the next phase of CodeRally 6.0, where participants face a fresh set of challenges designed to refine their skills and secure a spot in the final stages. This phase emphasizes consistent performance and strategic problem-solving under increased pressure.
The Selection Weeks span two weeks, with 3 new programming problems released each Monday and closing on Friday at midnight. Each level of participants will receive a separate set of problems tailored to their skill level. These challenges are designed to test deeper algorithmic understanding and efficient coding practices. Participants must submit their solutions within the allotted time, as late entries will not be accepted. Adherence to fair play rules remains crucial to uphold the integrity of the competition.
Challenges during this phase are more complex, focusing on higher-level algorithms and optimization techniques suitable for Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner tiers. Problems will still vary in difficulty but will require greater depth in problem-solving skills. Multiple submissions are allowed; however, only the highest scoring accepted solution per problem will contribute to the leaderboard. Sharing solutions or dishonest conduct will result in disqualification.
A real-time leaderboard will display the cumulative points earned throughout the Selection Weeks, providing transparency and motivation for participants. Unlike the Training Weeks, the leaderboard starts fresh at zero here, so everyone begins on equal footing. Consistent participation and timely submissions are vital, as only those with top rankings will advance to the next phase.
At the conclusion of the Selection Weeks, the top-performing teams from each level 10 teams from the Advanced level, 15 from Intermediate, and 15 from Beginner will qualify for the 24-hour Final Hackathon. This decisive phase highlights the most skilled and consistent participants, ensuring a highly competitive and exhilarating finale. The transparent, tier-based system established during the Selection Weeks continues to guide progression, rewarding dedication, strategic thinking, and sustained performance.
