CodeRally 6.0
The Training Weeks are the heart of your CodeRally 6.0 journey. Over four action-packed weeks, you'll tackle a curated mix of logic-based and algorithm-intensive problems designed to sharpen your coding mindset. Each week introduces fresh challenges across varying difficulty levels, ensuring that whether you're just starting or chasing national-level excellence, there's something to push you forward. This phase is your chance to build momentum, hone your skills, and set yourself apart. Your performance during this phase fuels your leaderboard ranking and determines your placement into one of three competitive tiers, paving the way for the road ahead.
During these four weeks, participants will receive three programming problems every Monday, which will remain open until Friday at midnight. These problems are designed to simulate real-world competitive programming scenarios, helping participants sharpen their coding mindset and prepare for time-bound contests. Consistent practice throughout this phase is highly encouraged to build a strong foundation. Late submissions will not be accepted, and adherence to the platform’s code of conduct is mandatory to ensure a fair and competitive environment.
Each week’s challenges cover a spectrum of difficulties, easy, medium, and hard addressing fundamental logic, data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques. Participants are expected to attempt problems across these levels to develop versatile skills. Multiple submissions are allowed per problem, but only the best accepted solution will count towards the score. Sharing solutions or plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification, underscoring the importance of integrity and individual effort.
Participants earn points based on the correctness, efficiency, and timeliness of their solutions. A live leaderboard tracks progress throughout the Training Weeks, promoting healthy competition and enabling participants to monitor their ranking. While points reset weekly, the cumulative scores across all four weeks determine overall performance. Regular participation is key, as inactivity may hinder leaderboard standing and negatively impact subsequent tier placement.
At the end of the Training Weeks, the cumulative points earned by each team will determine their placement into one of three competitive tiers: Advanced, Intermediate, or Beginner. The top 30% of teams will be placed in the Advanced Tier, the next 35% in the Intermediate Tier, and the remaining 35% in the Beginner Tier. This tier system ensures balanced and fair competition by grouping teams with similar skill levels, tailoring future challenges appropriately, and fostering growth across all levels.
