Virtual Hackathon

Innovate from anywhere. Build without boundaries. This is the Virtual HackQuest.

The Virtual Hackathon marks a pivotal stage in CodeRally 6.0, offering teams an intense, time-bound competition that tests their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities in a virtual setting.

12 Hours

Virtual Hackathon

01.  Overview of the Virtual Hackathon

This phase is a high-stakes, 12-hour online coding marathon open to all registered participants. While everyone is welcome to take part in the Virtual Hackathon, participants will tackle a set of diverse and challenging problems under real hackathon conditions, with strict time limits that encourage rapid thinking and effective teamwork. All submissions must be made within the official time window; late entries will not be accepted.

02.  Problem Variety and Submission Rules

Participants will encounter problems ranging across multiple difficulty levels, designed to assess algorithmic skills, coding efficiency, and innovation. Teams are allowed multiple attempts per problem, but only the best accepted solution will count towards their final score. Collaboration is encouraged within teams, but sharing solutions outside of your team or engaging in unfair practices is prohibited and subject to disqualification..

03.  Real-Time Leaderboard and Monitoring

A live leaderboard will track and display team rankings throughout the hackathon, fostering a competitive environment and helping teams strategize their submissions. Continuous monitoring ensures compliance with the rules, and any suspicious activity will be investigated promptly to maintain fairness.

04.  Advancement to the Final Round

The top-performing 5 teams in the Virtual Hackathon will qualify directly for the grand 24-hour Final Hackathon. This stage serves as a critical gateway to the ultimate competition, rewarding skill, endurance, and strategic execution. The Virtual Hackathon’s results provide a fresh leaderboard reset, allowing all finalists to start equally in the final battle.
